The State of Nevada allowed casino/hotels to open on June 4th, with a LOT of restrictions and rules. There is no indication of when gatherings and tradeshows of over 50 people will be allowed by either Federal or State mandate. Some conferences have scheduled, but there is no guarantee that they will be held unless restrictions are lifted.
Once we have all those ducks in a row, we will put together the plan that will allow students to register again for the same or similar classes that they were to have in 2020. And if people are not able to attend during those dates, we can address the refunds at that time also. Former hotel/casino locations
We are not using customer money to stay afloat in the meantime. We have received the PPP to keep minimal operations and additional loans to get us through until we can start working and producing shows again. We are currently working with the South Point to reschedule for April 2022. It is like a big chess game with the hotel moving everyone around that couldn’t have a show in 2020 or early this year. We have April dates on hold and are working with them to hopefully improve the date selection. Once we have the absolute best dates, we are then confirming with the Kiln, glass & Equipment companies for their support, and then going to the instructors.
Then we can work with the instructors to hopefully repeat their popular classes that were unable to be taught in April. Our intent is honorable, we are doing everything we can to make the above happen. We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone, as we have watched years of hard work building shows slip away overnight. We are there with you in your struggles as we struggle ourselves to keep our business afloat. It breaks our heart as this is an industry that we have helped cultivate and dearly love and consider everyone as family. Once we have a signed contract from them, we will announce the dates so everyone can plan.

To be placed on the wait list for a sold out class, you must complete a registration, and go to the class you wish to wait list, click on the Class is Full button which brings up the “Add Me to Waitlist” option. Can I get a refund if I have to cancel my class registration?
After you enter your arrival and departure dates, you will go to the next page that shows the Glass Craft & Bead Event logo and confirms both the group rate and that the resort fee is discounted. You will see the “average” rate for your stay in the right corner, below that you can also view a price breakdown per night before you select and move on in the registration. Once completed, you will be charged one night room and tax and receive your hotel confirmation number. Booking through our website link or using the group code calling in to the hotel gives you the resort fee discount. If you book with the hotel through a special offer or with an on line service, you will have to pay the full $21.00 plus tax per night resort fee! However, please note that your computer confirmation will show the full resort fee details, although you will be charged the discount resort fee rate upon checkout.

Oceanside Glass & Tile announced its acquisition of Spectrum Glass equipment, formulas and IP in September 2016. Oceanside Glass & Tile has been a customer of Spectrum Glass for over twenty years, leveraging Spectrum´s art glass to produce the Devotion collection. This ongoing relationship between Spectrum Glass and Oceanside Glass & Tile made the acquisition decision a rewarding experience for both companies. Thankfully we are a small company with a very low overhead, which we are keeping even lower by not being open until we can start gearing up for tradeshows. We have had to furlough staff, which is difficult as they have been with the company for years.
The IBS show floor is always buzzing with innovative products and dynamic demonstrations. Yes, we do on site class registrations at both registration desks, but it is better to register in advance as many classes sell out. We have boards posted that show class availability as well as classes that have been sold out. The hotel does have a shuttle service however you must call the hotel 1-2 weeks prior for reservations for both arrivals and departures. The hotel does not keep a shuttle on "standby" at the airport.
